Electrical Engineer

Position: - Electrical Automation EngineerLocation - Albany, OR (Hybrid)Duration – Full- Time Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 9+ years experience in electricalpower systems design.Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software and design vaults.Advanced knowledge of integrating electrical heaters, pumps, PLC’s, computers,and controllers.Advanced knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and industrystandards.Excellent interpersonal, time management, and project management skills.Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Provide technical oversight and leadership to junior members of the electricaldesign team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and complete designgoals.Constructs and completes an advanced electrical system schematic and Bill ofMaterials for complex equipment involving strong chemicals.Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, orsystems.Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability,performance, and safety standards are achieved.Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and designsolutions or products.Design for compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL, NFPA, CE, SEMI, etc).Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process, working with theMaterials team, ensuring all parts have adequate and cost-effective sourcing.Ensure all assemblies and panels follow RENA and Industry Best Practices fordesign and Manufacturability.
