The practice operates approximately 75% Internal Medicine and 25% Cardiology with a strong focus on ancillary services expect a diagnostically active practice with labs, imaging, and procedure orders as part of the daily workflow. The supervising physician sees approximately 40 patients per day and is looking for an NP who can comfortably manage a minimum of 25 patients per day during coverage.What You'll Be DoingEvaluate and manage acute and chronic Internal Medicine conditionsSupport Cardiology patient management including follow-ups and chronic disease managementOrder and interpret ancillary studies including labs, EKGs, and imagingDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physicianMaintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the clinic dayRequirementsBoard Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AGPCNP-BC) Adult or Family focus preferredActive, unrestricted Texas NP licenseActive DEA licenseComfortable in a high-volume outpatient settingInternal Medicine experience requiredCardiology exposure preferred but not requiredComfortable with ancillary-heavy practice workflowMinimum 25 patients per day requiredWhy This RoleRed Oak is a growing community just south of Dallas with easy access from the DFW metroplex.
