This role involves the fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of crane systems and their electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in diagnosing and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.Key Responsibilities:Fabrication, Installation & RepairInstall, assemble, and maintain various crane systems including overhead cranes, underhung cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, and monorail systems.Replace and repair crane components such as bearings, bridge wheels, trolley wheels, festoon systems, crane rails, motors, gearboxes, reducers, drives, resistors, and electrical overloads.Perform upgrades, retrofits, and preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and improve performance.Troubleshooting & DiagnosticsDiagnose issues with hoist, bridge, and trolley operations, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.Conduct electrical testing (240V/480V), inspect fuses, and verify drive functionality.Identify and resolve drive faults, and perform diagnostics on control systems.Inspect gearbox bearings for abnormal noise, verify proper lubrication, and ensure mechanical integrity.Monitor and record motor, reducer, and gearbox temperature readings as well as incoming power leads to ensure operational safety and efficiency.Interested in hearing more?
