Apparel Designer (Graphics and Technical)Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000 - $90,000 per yearReports To: CEO and Head of MerchandiseAbout the RoleNappy Boy Enterprises is looking for an Apparel Designer to help bring our merchandise and apparel to life, from concept through production.This is a hands-on role for someone who can design graphics, develop products, and execute production-ready deliverables. You will work closely with our Head of Merchandise and creative team to build product lines across apparel and accessories.We are looking for someone who can take direction and own the process end-to-end, ensuring designs translate into high-quality, production-ready products.What You Will DoCreate original graphics for apparel and merchandise (tees, fleece, outerwear, cut-and-sew, accessories)Develop product concepts, placements, and full garment designsTranslate creative direction into production-ready designsBuild CADs and detailed tech packs (BOM, measurements, construction details, placement guides)Review samples and provide clear feedback on fit, construction, and qualityCollaborate with internal teams and external factory partners throughout developmentTrack projects from concept through production and maintain organized filesStay current with fashion, streetwear, and cultural trends, applying insights to product designWhat We Are Looking For3+ years of experience in apparel design, technical design, or a related roleStrong ability to create original graphics for apparel and merchandiseAdvanced proficiency in: Adobe Illustrator (CADs, vector work, tech packs) and Adobe Photoshop (graphics and mockups)Experience creating production-ready tech packsSolid understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing processesAbility to manage multiple projects and move quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsNice to HaveExperience with CLO 3D, Gerber, or similar apparel design softwareBackground in cut-and-sew garments or more complex product developmentExperience working with factories and managing sample revisionsInterest in music, entertainment, and culture-driven brandsWhat Success Looks LikeAbility to take a product from concept to production with minimal oversightDelivery of 1–2 product lines within the first 90 daysClear, production-ready tech packs that minimize revision cyclesStrong alignment with brand identity and creative directionDevelop product concepts, placements, and full garment designsTranslate creative direction into production-ready designsBuild CADs and detailed tech packs (BOM, measurements, construction details, placement guides)Review samples and provide clear feedback on fit, construction, and qualityCollaborate with internal teams and external factory partners throughout developmentTrack projects from concept through production and maintain organized filesStay current with fashion, streetwear, and cultural trends, applying insights to product designWhy Join UsThis is an opportunity to play a key role in building out apparel and merchandise for a growing, multi-entity brand.
