Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Production SupervisorLeading tier I automotive supplier is seeking a shift Production Supervisor for 3rd shift to oversee production in a performing, smooth running area of the plant. As the Production Supervisor, you will report to an Assistant Manager. Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks in a specific area of the plant:Meeting and tracking production requirements and metricsTraining, coaching, mentoring and evaluating the hourly workforceEnsuring shift safety, quality and delivery goals are metAssisting with identifying process improvementsLeading the shift start-up meeting and attending other meetings as neededFollowing the production schedule and making modifications as neededReviewing and confirming shift paperwork and production numbersCommunicating with 1st and 2nd shift production supervisors at shift changeConfirming time sheets, vacation and time off within the timekeeping systemConducting reviews on line leaders and associatesEnsuring that training is completed for new and current staffOther duties as directed by managementThis is a hands-on position that requires qualified candidates to be on the production floor 100% of their day. Candidates should enjoy leading others and holding people accountable, have attention to detail, work well within a team environment and have excellent communication skills. It will be required to train on day shift prior to moving to your assigned shift.
