This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in project management methodology, guiding teams through structured development processes while balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate is a credible, action-oriented leader who earns trust by doing, not just directing — someone equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership and solving a scheduling conflict on the floor.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational strategyDevelop comprehensive project plans that coordinate resources, timelines, and customer requirements with business objectivesManage all aspects of project execution including deadlines, deliverables, and team responsibilitiesImplement and manage changes to project plans to ensure timely delivery of outcomesCross-Functional LeadershipLead and support cross-functional project teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality functionsProvide clear direction, resolve conflicts, and foster a productive, accountable team environmentManage stakeholder relationships at all organizational levels, including executive reportingFinancial & Resource ManagementOwn project budgets; maintain financial efficiency and accountability throughout project lifecycleAllocate resources effectively and build project schedules that reflect realistic capacityQuality, Risk & Continuous ImprovementLead quality assurance efforts to ensure project outcomes meet established standardsIdentify, assess, and manage project risks proactivelyConduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvementQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; equivalent experience consideredExperienceMinimum 5 years of project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environmentDemonstrated track record of delivering complex projects on scope, on schedule, and on budgetExperience with Stage Gate or phase-gate product development processes strongly preferredBackground in NPD, capital equipment, industrial manufacturing, or durable goods manufacturing preferredCertificationsPMP or CAPM certification preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience consideredTechnical SkillsProficiency in MS Project or comparable project management software requiredProficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsExperience with risk management, change management, and strategic planning frameworksLeadership & Interpersonal SkillsStrong leadership presence; leads through action and example, not just authorityExcellent communication and presentation skills for all organizational levelsProven conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilitiesHigh ownership mindset; operates with strong follow-through and accountability
