Senior Executive Assistant

Senior Executive AssistantWe are seeking a highly capable and proactive Senior Executive Assistant to support multiple C-suite leaders. This role will create new ways of working providing operational efficiencies for the Executive functions. Provides advanced administrative and operational support to ensure the effectiveness, alignment, and smooth running of executive priorities and day-to-day activities. This is a high-impact position for someone who operates with strong judgement, anticipates needs, and works independently to support the executive office in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:Understanding of the strategic priorities for the business, stakeholder relevance and importance to maximise efficiency for the executives.Manage highly complex, ever-evolving calendars, aligning executive time with business prioritiesAnticipate needs and proactively resolve scheduling conflictsAct as a key coordination point in managing competing demands and prioritiesDrive and create sustainable leadership cadences (staff meetings, business reviews, planning cycles)Prepare high-quality briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups to support effective decision-makingTrack key action items and follow up with stakeholders to support timely executionAct as a liaison across senior leadership, functional teams, and external stakeholdersDraft and manage executive communications with clarity and professionalismEnsure consistent coordination and a high standard of responsiveness across interactionsSupport the delivery of cross-functional initiatives, leadership offsites, and key organisational activitiesPartner across teams to support alignment and follow-through on agreed actionsIdentify and suggest improvements to processes to enhance executive office effectivenessHandle highly sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalismApply sound judgement in navigating day-to-day priorities and resolving issues within defined parametersHere at Dechra we pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer and we embrace candidates from all walks of life.
