Individual Placement and Supports (IPS Specialist)
First Resources Corp. of Ottumwa is growing and we are searching for dedicated and energetic Full-time IPS Specialist. The ideal candidate would be responsible for working directly with individuals served to assist with community based employment. Implements all services as outlined in the plan.Attend Meetings with other providers. Works closely with IHH providers. Completes required trainings according to established agency timelines. Attends staff meetings as scheduled.Makes recommendations to improve services based on knowledge acquired through implementation of program plan and experience with the individuals served. Establish positive relationships with individuals served, family members, and referral sources. Demonstrates appropriate communication and maintain clear and professional boundaries.Advocates and offer choices that support's the individuals rights and responsibilities.Responsible for reporting any health and safety concerns.Keeps supervisor informed of important incidents, and issues concerning individuals served.Strictly adheres to confidentiality guidelines.Responsible to work the schedule agreed upon with supervisor. RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.Experience is preferred, but not required. We provide the training and tools that you need to be successful at First Resources Crop.Position will be primarily based out of the Ottumwa office, with some work being required in surrounding communities.
