Suicide Prevention Expert

A company is looking for a Suicide Prevention and Postvention Subject Matter Expert. Key Responsibilities Provide expertise on evidence-based practices for suicide prevention and response efforts Support the design and development of lethal means safety training for military leaders and units Guide communication and messaging strategies related to prevention, postvention, and stigma reduction Required Qualifications Master's or PhD degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field 10+ years of related experience, including 5 years in training program design and delivery Working knowledge of lethal means safety and postvention concepts Familiarity with Department of Defense policies related to suicide prevention Experience working within military communities and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
