Machine Shops; Turned Product; and Screw, Nut, and Bolt ManufacturingMetalworking Machinery ManufacturingHousehold and Institutional Furniture and Kitchen Cabinet ManufacturingEmployment ServicesNonscheduled Air TransportationEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Review customer blueprints and requirements to estimate the machine time, raw materials and subcontractor services required to manufacture CNC precision machined parts.Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates, machine processes, material cost and subcontract services.Consult with customers, vendors, and company personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Discuss with engineers and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, lead-times, and scheduling work.QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years working in a cost estimating in a manufacturing environment.Candidate should have a CNC shop background.Experience with Microsoft Office and heavy Excel use.Ability to work independently as well in a team environment
