Landscape Maintenance Lead

We are a well established full-service landscape design, construction and maintenance company based in Bend. FT 40-45 hrs/ week (Mar - Nov) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drive a company truck and trailer to locations in Bend and/or Sunriver each day. - Proper use and care of tools / power equipment / mowers / vehicles. - Work to maintain landscapes to the highest level of detail. - Identify and care for plants. - Identify, pull, and spray weeds. - Manage, program and troubleshoot irrigation systems. - Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and crew members. - Thoroughly complete all paperwork. REQUIREMENTS: - VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE. - Reliable transportation to get to and from work. - Ability to drive / back up a truck and trailer. - General plant knowledge and weed identification. - Must know turf grass management and be able to fertilize appropriately. - General knowledge of weed and pest control. - Basic irrigation knowledge and competence using/ programming an irrigation controller. - Ability to work well on a team. - Strong work ethic and have the stamina to work long hours in all elements throughout the season. - Be willing to learn and have fun! - Be neat, clean, and professional in appearance and character.
