Surgical Tech - Level 4 Cardiac ORanee (Hiring Immediately)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Cardiac Surgical Technologist to support complex cardiac procedures in a high-acuity academic hospital setting. This role involves working in the cardiac OR, assisting surgeons during advanced cardiovascular procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique. Strong Memorial Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and major academic facility, handling complex cardiac cases and high patient volumes. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field for cardiac procedures • Set up and manage cardiac surgical instruments and equipment • Assist surgeons in the scrub role during procedures • Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently • Perform surgical counts and ensure sterile technique compliance • Support room turnover and case preparation • Handle surgical supplies and equipment safely • Participate in team briefings and quality initiatives Cardiac Case Exposure (Critical) • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) • TAVR procedures • Heart failure devices (VAD, ECMO) • Complex cardiac and vascular surgeries Required Qualifications • Minimum 2+ years of recent Cardiac OR experience • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST - NBSTSA) required • New York Surgical Tech License required • BLS Certification (AHA) required • Ability to scrub (and sometimes circulate) in cardiac cases Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
