Our mission is to create a brighter, healthier, and more equitable energy future.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or Remote. The position is ideal for candidates with strong leadership, organizational, and technical backgrounds who are passionate about managing complex engineering and commercialization projects in the clean energy sector.The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key programs across engineering, licensing, and operations. This individual will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Hadron Energy’s strategic and technical objectives.You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, and finance—to coordinate schedules, budgets, deliverables, and communication. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader capable of balancing technical understanding with project management discipline in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver technical and organizational milestonesDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using modern project management toolsFacilitate weekly and monthly progress reviews, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategiesCollaborate with engineering, licensing, and operations teams to align project objectives with company prioritiesTrack project progress, deliverables, and dependencies through standardized dashboards and documentationSupport NRC licensing and DOE engagement activities by coordinating technical and regulatory deliverablesPrepare and present status updates, reports, and key performance metrics for senior leadership and external stakeholdersOversee vendor and contractor coordination to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are metManage change control, ensuring alignment between technical scope, design updates, and project baselinesSupport strategic planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programsFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparent communication across teamsQualifications & SkillsetsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)5–10 years of experience managing technical or infrastructure projects, ideally in energy, nuclear, aerospace, or manufacturing sectorsStrong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6)Proven track record of managing projects through the design, regulatory, and implementation phasesExperience developing and managing budgets, schedules, and resource plansKnowledge of engineering workflows, risk management, and QA/QC practicesExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable plansStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyUnderstanding of nuclear or highly regulated environments (NRC, DOE, ASME NQA-1) is a plusPassion for clean energy, innovation, and managing projects that enable the deployment of sustainable nuclear technology
