SANITATION/LEAD PERSON

Monitor all established quality assurance standards. Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Clean Team. Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals and established standards for the Clean Team. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.RESPONSIBILITIES - Promote trust and respect among associatesCommunicate company, department, and job specific information to associatesCreate an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciatedDisplay a positive attitudeGain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standardsMonitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needsMaintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventoryPractice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repairResolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional mannerManage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverageUnderstand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiersAdhere to all food safety regulations and guidelinesReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store managementNotify management of customer or employee accidentsReport all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraudCollaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organizationEnsure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standardsSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsAdhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelinesMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationQUALIFICATIONS MinimumAbility to handle stressful situationsFlexibilityKnowledge of basic mathEffective communication skillsDesiredAny retail experienceAny sanitation/janitorial experienceSecond language (speaking, reading and/or writing)$29.61 - $29.61 per hour
