Full-time Registered Dietitian

Full-time RD (Hybrid Position)Fabulous, energetic, hardworking and responsible registered dietitian (RD) with 2 years of experience in outpatient nutrition wanted for a growing private nutrition practice.This job is 2 days in-person (Silver Spring, Maryland).  This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to become a CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) or is one already.What we are looking for:RD who is seeking to join a fun, fast-paced, upbeat nutrition private practice.·- RD interested in taking a root cause approach to nutritionOur practice sees clients with diabetes, PCOS, gut health hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and weight management.Education/Experience:· Licensed or certified as a dietitian or nutritional professional in the state of MarylandResponsibilities and Duties:· Conduct nutrition assessment and obtain nutrition history from a variety of patients.· Counsel patients in both one-on-one settings as well as in groups.· Formulate menus for therapeutic diets based on the medical and physical condition of patients.· Schedule follow-up for patients visits using the company's HIPAA compliant cloud-based scheduling system.· Effectively document patient visits.Qualifications and Skills:· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.· 2 years of experience required as an outpatient RD· Wage will commensurate with experience.Responsibilities:· Explain the effects that various foods can have on one's overall health.· Advise patients on how to improve their diet.· Recommend changes to diet based on medical conditions and health problems.· Provide nutrition information to physicians and nurses.· Work with patients on an individual basis to help them achieve their dietary goals.Job Type: Full-time hours.
