Position Overview We are seeking a highly trained and skilled Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in All-On-4 (AO4) procedures, dental implants, and digital workflows. This role requires a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Surgical Assistance: Assist oral surgeons during procedures such as All-On-X full mouth dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, orthognathic jaw surgeries, bone grafting, and TMJ treatments. Digital Workflow Management: Utilize advanced digital technologies for imaging, treatment planning, and surgical guides to enhance precision and patient outcomes. Patient Care: Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions, ensuring patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey. Sterilization & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Administrative Support: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate with the front office to ensure seamless patient experiences. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a dental assistant, with at least 2 years in an oral surgery setting. Certifications: Current CPR certification and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital imaging systems, electronic health records, and familiarity with dental implant systems.
