We are looking for a strategic and passionate leader who shares our love of story-telling and believes passionately in the value of heirloom quality artisan furniture, sustainability, and our mission to continue to learn and grow as a brand.Job ResponsibilitiesLight, style, and photograph Ecomm product according to established Arhaus creative direction and lighting standards.Photograph company events, ceremonies, environmental portraits, etc. when required to support cross functional and partner initiativesMaintain an efficient workflow to ensure the completion of the daily production requirementsDigital asset management; file naming, organizing, and archival of image capture sessionsMaintain a high standard of quality for all deliverables in support of the Photography ManagerCreate and maintain documentation of Standard Operating ProceduresDirect the Photography Assistant and/or Stylist on setTraining and facilitating of freelance photographers and photo assistantsCoordinate with Production and Operations personnel to ensure the timely movement of product, props, and assets on and off set safely and efficientlyLift and move heavy furniture and photography equipmentSkills / CompetenciesExtensive experience with Studio lighting and riggingAdvanced lighting techniques for glass and reflective materialsProficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Capture One Studio, iOS, and MS 365Use of Photoshop knowledge and experience to guide decision making and best practices on setAn intuitive sense of image composition and understanding of additive color theoryQuickly and fluidly adapt to changeThe ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectivelyProduct stylingSet stylingBasic carpentry skills and tool useSelf-starter seeking to learn, improve, and contribute to a team-based environmentDriven to exceed expectations and standardsHigh degree of integrity and accountabilityEducation, Experience and Other QualificationsMinimum- Associate's Degree in PhotographyPrinted portfolio or website showcasing previous work2+ year's experience as a Product PhotographerUnderstanding of best practices, responsibilities, and workflow within a large, fast paced, photography studio environmentArhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind, Arhaus is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
