The TS Specialist supports Treatment Services (TS) and Advanced Water Treatment (AWT) operations through manifest management, regulatory documentation, shipment tracking, inventory reporting, and customer communication. The role supports daily plant operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing required documentation, and communicating with internal departments and customers regarding receipts, shipments, and profiles. Employees are expected to perform their duties in accordance with company policies, environmental regulations, and safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned consistent with the responsibilities of the position.What You Will Be Doing:Maintain accurate manifests and ensure compliance with state regulations (including STEERS submissions).Create manifests and BOLs for customer shipments to Houston and distribute required copies.Maintain TS/AWT receipt records, enter daily STEERS receipts, and submit monthly TCEQ payments.Manage TS/AWT RCRA files, test burn packets, and recertification/profile updates.Create, track, and close TS process orders; perform SAP inventory moves and RCS/WinLIMS entries.Track inbound/outbound trucks and resolve daily scheduling issues, rejections, or delays.Maintain daily/weekly/monthly TS/AWT checklists and follow up on hazardous waste bins/tubs.Communicate daily with customer service, sales, operators, and transporters on receipts and scheduling.Review railcar reports, log railcars with guards/lab, and generate COCs for operators.Maintain TS inventory metrics, direct burn totals, storage totals, and monthly profile totals.Handle internal/external customer inquiries, complaints, and discrepancy resolutions.Maintain and update transporter contact lists and obtain trailer weights to verify RCRA empty status.Manage purchase requisitions for TS/AWT supplies and prepare off hour/after-hours orders as needed.Analyze new stream profiles for chemical compatibility and assist with finalizing stream packets.Enter production for shipments and support customer service and chief operators with new orders/issues.Required Qualifications:Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experienceTransportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)Perform basic mathAbility to learn new computer database programs from TS SuperintendentAbility to learn computer applications used in the position including AS400 applications, Prism, JDE, Excel, Word, Access, New STEERS Program, and PowerPointMust be detail oriented for accuracyMust have good time management skillsMust be self-motivatedMust be able to handle external customersMust be able to solve manifest discrepanciesMust be knowledgeable of state regulations regarding manifest documentationRequired Training:Successfully complete annual computer-based training (CBT) to maintain knowledge of procedures and safety processesDOT training for shipping papersSafety (Eco Services) proceduresSTEERS (T.N.R.C.C.) annually
