Documents and enforces keyprocedures related to patient contact, scheduling, inventory and etc.. Drafts an annual budget; oversees theinsurance coding, billing and collection activities; is not ultimatelyresponsible for the profit and loss of the clinic.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Manages all clinical and administrative staff,including hiring, orientation, schedule changes and disciplinary actions. Creates training plans that partner new hireswith experienced employees. Workscollaboratively with peers to utilize staff and resources most effectively.2. Manages, opens and monitors Axium Schedule includedadding residents to the schedule.3. Monitors all referrals to ensure that staff is actingon the referral in a timely manner.4. Develops or assists practice leadership in developingclinic's operating budget. Tracks spending and reconciles budget accounts.5. Establishes and monitors equipment leases; creates andmodifies standing supply orders with approved vendors. May take part in review and selections of newvendors or new products.6. Prepares recurring administrative reports such asclinical billing and the status of collection activity.7. Partners with IT, telecommunications and facilitiesprofessionals to plan and execute repairs and updates to office equipment. Ensures staff members are trained in newoffice technology.8. Periodically analyzes internal processes, equipment andsupplies, and implements changes to improve operationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years' related experience in aclinical practice or similar operation. Experiencemay be substituted for education on a year for year basis. Excellent oral andwritten communication skills. A workingknowledge of Excel and Word software, as well as enterprise-wide computerapplications.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:Ability to motivate andmentor staff. Skill in planning andcoordinating workflow and in monitoring and providing guidance to clericalpersonnel. Ability to independentlyperform specialized tasks. Ability tosolve problems where no clear precedent exists.ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:Incumbentsmust be available as dictated by the business needs of the programs.
