This role involves providing compassionate, safe, and structured nursing care to pediatric patients with behavioral and psychiatric needs. The ideal candidate will have prior psychiatric experience and a strong interest in pediatric behavioral health.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a bio-behavioral/psychiatric settingMonitor patient behavior, safety, and emotional well-beingAssist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventionsAdminister medications and document care in accordance with policies and standardsCollaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teamsSupport a safe, structured, and therapeutic environmentComply with facility protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation requirementsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (State of New York or eligible)Psychiatric experience requiredPediatric experience preferredStrong communication, observation, and teamwork skillsAbility to work assigned weekends and holidaysFor more details contact at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com
