HVAC Technician (Alternating Shifts) – Philadelphia, PAZing is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to join a dynamic facilities team supporting a cutting-edge environment in Philadelphia. If you’re hands-on, detail-driven, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this is your shot to step into a high-impact position.Pay: $25.00 – $32.00/hourSchedule: Alternating shifts every 2 to 4 weeks6:00 AM – 2:30 PM10:00 AM – 6:30 PMLocation: Philadelphia, PA (On-site)What You’ll Be DoingTake ownership of site HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, and exhaust fansPerform daily system checks and document activities in compliance with GDP and GMP standardsMonitor EMS and BMS systems, respond to alarms, and troubleshoot issues in real timeExecute preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipmentWork independently or alongside specialists to complete urgent repairs and maintenance tasksUse CMMS systems to track, manage, and complete work ordersLead and coordinate with external service providers during major maintenance or shutdownsApply condition-based maintenance techniques to improve system performance and reliabilityWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in a commercial or industrial settingExperience working with chillers, air handlers, and building systemsFamiliarity with EMS, BMS, and CMMS platformsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing schedulesTrade school certification or equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, relevant industry experience is requiredWhy This Role Stands OutWork in a highly regulated, high-performance environmentGain exposure to advanced systems and technologiesBe a key player in maintaining mission-critical operationsSteady contract through the end of the year with strong earning potentialZing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
