This role requires strong project management skills, as well as knowledge of transportation and logistics operations. The Projects Manager will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute transportation and logistics project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCollaborate with customers, internal teams, and external partners to define project scope and objectivesMonitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completionIdentify and mitigate project risks and issuesManage project budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraintsProvide regular project status updates to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost savingsSupport the development of project proposals and bidsEducational background / Work experience* A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is typically required for this position.* At least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics project management is preferred. Experience working in a customer-facing role is also desirable.Skills & CompetenciesStrong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and monitor progressExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issuesKnowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousingFamiliarity with relevant regulations and standards, including international trade compliance requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / ProcessesSupervisory Responsibilities (if any)* The Projects Manager may be responsible for managing project team members, such as project coordinators or analysts.Preferred QualificationsExperience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or SmartsheetExperience working with international customers and partnersFamiliarity with Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologiesLanguage skills* Fluency in English (oral and written)Computer Literacy* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word* Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or SmartsheetAt Will EmploymentDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as "at will" employees.
