Position Overview: The DOT Specialist administers and maintains the DOTregulated and nonDOT testing programs, including random, postaccident, reasonable suspicion, and returntoduty testing. This role manages SAP coordination and RTD schedules, oversees DISA enrollment and compliance, completes DOTcompliant employment and testing verifications, and maintains accurate, confidential testing records and logs. The position collaborates closely with People Team, Safety, DOT, and field/office management to ensure timely testing, proper documentation, and adherence to all regulatory and company requirements.‑regulated and non‑DOT testing programs, including random, post‑accident, reasonable suspicion, and return‑to‑duty testing. What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance and Program Administration
Administer and maintain all DOT and regulated testing program compliance requirements.
Administer DOT and non-DOT drug/alcohol testing programs including random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion.
Review and document quarterly random selections and ensure timely test completion.
Review and resolve NECS/DOT missing items and ensure completion of requirements.
Case Management and Documentation
Manage SAP coordination and Return-to-Duty (RTD) documentation and testing schedules.
Maintain accurate and confidential testing records.
Complete DOT-compliant employment verifications and maintain detailed logs.
Data Monitoring and Follow-Up
Monitor results, follow up on outstanding tests, and coordinate disciplinary actions with People Team.
Manage DISA enrollment, compliance, background checks, and test verifications.
Cross Department Coordination and Communication
Collaborate with People Team, DOT, Safety, and Office Managers to ensure compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications:
Education: Highschool degree
Experience:
DOT compliance
FMCSA regulations
drug/alcohol testing programs – preferred
Required Skills:
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Navigate uneven terrain at job sites
Use hands to handle tools, materials, and equipment
Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required
Climb ladders and stairs
Work at elevated heights when necessary
Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Maintain visual awareness sufficient to safely operate tools and equipment
