Process Engineering Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineering Manager to lead and develop the Process Engineering function within a high-reliability manufacturing environment. This individual will drive Improvement in key operational metrics including yield, OEE, scrap reduction, and process capability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of Engineers and Technicians supporting manufacturing operations.Develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Drive process capability improvements through SPC, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing, quality, and customer-related issues utilizing methodologies such as 8D, A3, and 5-Why.Maintain and improve process documentation including PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.Partner cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support successful product launches and manufacturing transfers.Ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles are incorporated into new product and process development activities.Lead process validation and qualification efforts for new equipment and manufacturing processes including IQ/OQ/PQ and related qualification protocols.Continuous Improvement & Operational ExcellenceLead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, scrap reduction, cycle time, productivity, and operational efficiency.Drive Kaizen, DMAIC, and other structured improvement activities aligned to business objectives.Improve visual management systems, line balancing, workflow optimization, and manufacturing throughput.RequiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, or related discipline).10+ years of progressive experience in Process Engineering/Manufacturing EngineeringStrong experience with:Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, SPC and statistical analysis, DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Corrective Action methodologiesPreferredAdvanced degree (MS or MBA).Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or PMP certification.Experience within electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing industries.Familiarity with APQP/PPAP
