Teamwork: The student worker will function as a member of the VMCPCSS team. The student worker will collaborate with the team to support Advancement functions. -This is an off-campus work-study position only eligible to students who have filed a FAFSA and have an unmet financial need. Student workers are considered employees of Gannon and are paid by the University. The VMCPCSS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer student Intern to support our Advancement functions. This internship provides hands-on experience in a mission-driven educational environment and is ideal for a Gannon University student interested in nonprofit administration, communications, and marketing. Summary of Essential Job FunctionsWork with the events leader to help plan and execute official Prep events including conception, planning, marketing, execution, and evaluation. Work with the annual fund manager to create messaging and marketing around the Prep Annual Fund Program. Work with staff to create a bi-monthly alumni e-newsletter template to communicate more effectively with VMCPCSS alumni via digital communications. Work on general office and administrative support including filing, organizing, and proper disposal of records and materials. Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Advancement.
