As an Platform Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, IT architects, Cybersecurity, support teams and developers. The ideal candidate will be familiar with IT infrastructure platforms including Linux, Windows, Cloud Computing, Cloud Storage – On/Off PremResponsibilitiesContribute to application migration and development on various platformsMonitor infrastructure performance and resource usageResolve technical issues, troubleshoot network, application, and security problemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsManage incidents, escalate critical issuesProficient in scripting languages for automationImplement Infrastructure as Code principles with tools like Terraform or CloudFormationConduct detailed problem analysisHandle change management and maintenance tasksMaintain a knowledge base for efficient issue resolution and knowledge sharingQualifications, Skills, And ExperienceStrong knowledge of industry best practicesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsCertification in AWS or Kubernetes is preferredExperience with monitoring tools like Zenoss, Splunk, InstanaProficient in MongoDB, NetApp storage solutionsFamiliar with Kubernetes, Rancher, containerized workflowsSkilled in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, JenkinsProficient in Ansible Tower, Terraform, ChefExperienced with Git, Gitlab, GitHub for version controlSkilled in building, deploying, and troubleshooting containersWell-versed in Splunk for log managementProficiency in AWS Services: EC2, EKS, S3Knowledgeable in MariaDB, Istio Service MeshExperienced in writing Ansible playbooks, patching OSRecent experience with LogicMonitor, SNMP, NetflowEducationBachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experienceCompensationThe target salary range for this position is 109,650 - 162,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
