Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and maintaining the operation of all Warehouse areas on a shift to the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.ResponsibilitiesAssign duties and direct the daily warehouse work listTrain and coach warehouse personnelCoordinate with internal departments to ensure safe operation equipment and warehouse tasksWork with warehouse personnel to complete receipt verifications as neededAssist in reviewing transactions to identify and correct root cause inaccuraciesDevelop and implement ideas for improving productivityProfessionally interact with the Traffic Department, customers, and carriersAssist in revising and updating the warehouse manualResolve employee attendance issues provided by shift attendance resource personGather performance data for team evaluation for performance appraisalsOperate within standard operating procedures with an emphasis on safetyCommunicate with other Warehouse Supervisors, Production, Quality, and Management as neededWork with Sanitation Department to ensure the warehouse is clean, sanitized, and audit readyEnsure safety policies and programs are being followedIdentify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessaryEnsure all warehouse personnel are following all Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs)Other duties as assignedEssential FunctionsAble to read, understand and strictly follow written procedures for multiple processesMust have strong people resolution, and communication skillsGood understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)Must be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanlinessMust be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team membersFollow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervisionAdherence to the company attendance policy is required including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absencesThis position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and liftingRequired to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per dayMust be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb, reach, and regularly use stairsQualificationsExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredExperience in AS400 is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredTwo to four years of warehouse experience preferredPay RangeStarting from USD $30.00/Hr.
