We manufacture advanced electronic systems that support today's most complex defense missions.The Mechanical Assembler I role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build foundational skills in electronics assembly within a structured, high-reliability manufacturing environment.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Assembler I, you will learn and perform a variety of production tasks related to electronic and mechanical assemblies. This entry-level role focuses on developing proficiency in interpreting work instructions, assembling components, operating production equipment, and performing inspections to IPC standards.You will work in a team-based environment supporting high-quality, mission-critical electronics manufacturing.What You'll DoLearn to install, assemble, and inspect electronic components per documented work instructionsInterpret job routers, written instructions, and schematic drawingsPerform inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standardsUse hand and power tools for assembly operationsOperate production equipment such as conformal coat machines, plasma washers, and ovensPerform mechanical assembly tasks including washing, baking, underfill, masking, curing, demasking, cleaning, and touch-upApply underfill and masking materials according to specificationsConduct shift pass downs to ensure production continuitySupport additional production tasks as assignedGeneral ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentFollow all company safety, ESD, and quality proceduresSupport production schedules with flexibility as neededDemonstrate attention to detail and quality standardsCollaborate effectively with team members and supervisorsMust-Have Skills and Experience(These are required for consideration.)High School Diploma or GED0-1 years of electronics assembly and/or inspection experienceAbility to read and follow written work instructionsAbility to lift and manipulate up to 25 lbs for extended periodsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask in a production environmentFlexibility to meet production and customer scheduling needsNice-to-Have SkillsKnowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standardsFamiliarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) proceduresStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationWillingness to work overtimeWho You AreDetail-oriented and quality-drivenEager to learn and grow in electronics manufacturingComfortable working with your hands in a production environmentA reliable and adaptable team playerSafety-conscious and process-focusedBenefitsPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesMedical, life, and disability insuranceCompany-paid holidays and paid time off401(k) retirement planDiscounted employee stock purchase planTuition reimbursementProfessional development platforms (LinkedIn Learning, Headspace, Aaptiv, Virgin Pulse)
