DataStaff is seeking an MS Power Platform Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC.*This position is hybridJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MS Power Platform Developer to support the Health Hazard Control Unit (HHCU) within the Environmental Health section to design, build, and support applications and automation solutions that streamline business processes across the organization. This role focuses on developing enterprise-grade Power Apps, automated workflows, and integrated business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and DataverseCreate automated workflows to improve business efficiency and replace manual processesBuild and optimize Dataverse tables, business rules, relationships, and logicIntegrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party systemsDevelop custom connectors, data models, and forms for enterprise applicationsTroubleshoot application issues, workflow failures, and performance problemsCollaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutionsMaintain documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and user guidesFollow best practices for environment strategy, security, ALM, and governanceWork with security roles, DLP policies, and administrative processes to ensure solution compliance.Knowledge and Experience: Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power AutomateExperience working with Dataverse, data modeling, and business logicAbility to build workflows, connectors, forms, and custom componentsStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) integrationsFamiliarity with REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration practicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience with Power BI, Power Pages, or RPA/Power Automate DesktopExperience with Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CDRequired Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7 Years - Experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation7 Years - Proficiency in PowerApps, MS Pages and Dataverse7 Years - Knowledge of SQL database structure.7 Years - Strong SQL skills and experience integrating with databases7 Years - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.7 Years - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.7 Years - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.7 Years - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Desired Skills: Microsoft Certification-Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higherThis opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
