Operations and Maintenance Support Technician

At MTI Boats, we build high-performance luxury boats — and that means our operation runs on problem-solvers. The Operations Support Technician is the go-to, hands-on team member who jumps in wherever needed to keep production flowing and the facility running smoothly. If you’re the type who can move a boat with a forklift in the morning, troubleshoot a machine after lunch, swap paint booth filters, update light fixtures, and then build a custom cart before the day ends — we want to talk to you. This isn’t traditional maintenance. This is operational muscle. What You’ll Do Move boats and materials safely using forklifts and shop equipment Troubleshoot machinery, mechanical systems, and basic electrical issues Support HVAC and facility systems Change paint booth filters and maintain production environments Update lighting, perform minor wiring, and handle small repairs Run down parts and keep departments supplied Build carts, racks, temporary catwalks, and shop improvements Step in wherever needed to keep production on track No two days are the same — and that’s the point.
