Speech Language Pathologist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. Duties
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients, including assessmen
- Conduct standardized testing to identify areas of strength and weakness in patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
- Utilize evidence-based methods to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including speech therapy and case management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and families, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Work in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as pediatric and adult populations.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in case management and coordinate services with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state where the position is located.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong knowledge of physiology and its relationship to communication and inistration of tests such as the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT) and the Goldman-Fristoe Test of Articulation Skills (GFTA).
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to work with children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $55.03 - $60.00 per hour
