We are searching for an enthusiastic Prep Cook to provide delicious meals and excellent customer service for an amazing guest experience and bring a fun, inviting atmosphere to all travelers. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provides quality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standardsFollowing prep lists created by the management teamMeasuring ingredients and seasoningsEnsuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessibleSupervising food and cooling room temperaturesMaintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchenFollow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environmentPrepares, washes, and cuts food to be cookedRestock and replenish product and inventory suppliesInteract with customers in a positive and upbeat mannerWork with a Team to provide the best possible customer experienceAll other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:Accountability for the ingredients prepped measuring up to the expectations of managementComprehension and organization to follow direct orders, recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurantManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting and dicingAbility to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle extreme heat and work shiftsRequirements:Must be able to pass background check to receive airport badgeMust have reliable transportationBenefits:Paid trainingEmployee discountEmployee referral program401 with employer matchingHealth, Dental and Vision offered to Full-time employeesTailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
