Design Operations Associate

Job DescriptionDesign Operations AssociateReports To: Design Operations Manager/VP Design Operations and PLM ManagementOverviewThe Design Operations Associate will work closely with cross functional partners to ensure consistent and accurate workflow across all brands.Key Accountabilities Check and oversee tech packs for all details throughout the season Facilitate the uploading of tech packs inclusive of spec pages, and artwork for sourcing Ensure all production package requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner Meet all deadlines in adherence to the design calendar Work directly with Design, Technical, and Sourcing on all seasonal style specifications Maintain Design Standards across specified brand(s) Attend and participate in fittings and ensure changes/updates are executed within tech packs and communicated to Sourcing/Overseas Offices Resolve pre-production and production issues by partnering with both design andsourcing/production/PA/TD to ensure design’s intent is met Manage daily communication with Overseas Offices/Factories and expedite resolutions to issues in a concise and timely manner Communicate and confirm updates/changes to styles to Souring Team Coordinate any additional materials needed for Production Communicate on workload, solve for solutions, and elevate issues Attend and participate in Daily Team meetings and Training sessions Special projects as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities/Education Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field 2+ years of experience in the fashion industry as an Assistant or Associate Excellent Excel skills Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign)Salary: 65-75k (On-site)
