Appliance Repair Technician (Experienced Only – W2) Service Area: Charlotte, NC / Gastonia, NC / Rock Hill, SC Applicants must live within a 25-mile radius of the listed service areas Fresh Start Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for experienced, professional Appliance Repair Technicians. This is a full-time W-2 role for technicians with paid, hands-on appliance repair experience who can work independently in the field. This position is not entry-level. Adjacent or indirect experience will not qualify. Pay & Benefits $25–$30 per hour to start, transitioning to commission based on performance Strong earning potential based on completed service calls Company vehicle and iPad provided Medical, dental, and vision benefits with no waiting period 401(k) with company match up to 5% Paid time off and paid holidays No nights or weekends Responsibilities Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customer homes Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs Clearly communicate repair needs and solutions to customers Order parts and manage materials efficiently Collect payment and complete service documentation Maintain professionalism and high customer satisfaction Mandatory Requirements (Read Carefully) Applicants must meet all of the following to be considered: 2–3+ years of paid, professional appliance repair experience Experience working as a Residential Appliance Repair Technician for a company that exclusively performs appliance repair Hands-on experience repairing: Refrigerators Washers and dryers Ovens and stoves Dishwashers Microwaves Ability to read schematics and technical manuals Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills EPA certification required (Universal or Type I preferred) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be at least 18 years old Residence within 25 miles of Charlotte, Gastonia, or Rock Hill Stable work history Not a Fit If You Are HVAC-only technicians Trade school graduates without professional appliance repair employment Handyman or maintenance technicians Appliance installers without repair experience Candidates living more than 25 miles from the service area Required Application Questions Applications missing required information will not be reviewed.
