We are searching for an experienced Operations Manager at our manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, NVPrimary Duties And ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate activities of multiple departments, through subordinate supervisors and plant employees, with full accountability for results in terms of safety, costs, methods, quality, and quantity of production, operations, and personnel.Plan and layout work in collaboration with the sales team.Responsible for developing and increasing the production capacity required to meet monthly and yearly shipping goals.Maintain performance standards, check progress, interdepartmental coordinate workflow, analyze workflow delays, and take remedial action. Responsible for purchasing and maintaining material inventories to meet customer commitments. Interpret and clarify rules, regulations, and general policies.Evaluate and recommend staffing needs, shift requirements, and equipment needs. Interview screened applicants, train and retain employees. Recommend terminations, transfers, promotions, and wage adjustments.Address complaints in conjunction with supervisors and human resources.General supervision over departments where skilled workers are used in the production of door and frame products.Must be able to manage in a fast pace environment and provide the safest working environment possible.Responsibilities And Duties Include But Are Not Limited ToManage daily operations in our plant facility.Ensure safety and efficiency of the facility.Test and monitor plant processes.Prepare, analyze, and issue production and performance reports.Maintain all safety and administrative records.Control costs to achieve company budget goals.Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance programRequired QualificationsDegree preferred in management or operations and/or5+ years of managerial or supervisory experienceFamiliarity with commercial metal door manufacturing a plusExperience in training manufacturing staffAbility to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair mechanical equipment a plusComputer literacy; MS OfficeUnderstanding of safety requirements and able to manage a safety training programSalary, ExemptAnnual SalaryOur company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.Please no Third-party candidates or phone calls**
