HSES Manager

This position will lead and manage all matters concerning health, safety, environmental and security of the facility and employees, there by assisting the facility in achieving its vision of zero incidents. Manage compliance of employee health policies including injury management, accident investigations and hazardous chemical safety data sheets. Manage continuous improvement of a mill wide safety program that is exemplary of the highest industrial standards. Assist management in formulating policy and regulations relating to safety culture improvement. Manage compliance efforts for federal, state and local environmental regulations relating to air, water, solid waste, hazardous waste and universal waste. Provide positive, professional, effective representation of KT LLC to regulatory agencies. Manage monitoring and reporting requirements for environmental regulations. This position may have to collect or transport hazardous waste from the point of accumulation to the point of disposal. This position will require training in both the awareness level of hazardous waste operations, and the operations level. This training will be conducted at the time of hire, and annually thereafter. Individuals in this position must be able to comply with site procedures related to hazardous waste and must at all times mitigate the regulatory risk associated with hazardous waste operations. Manage security initiatives of the facility to ensure the safety and security of employees and property. Supports, maintains and continually improves Knowlton Technologies, LLC Quality Management System in accordance with requirements of the IATF 16949 International Standard. Employee has the role and responsibility to follow the work instructions and Current Best Practices that support the KT Value Stream Maps.Bachelor's degree required in occupational safety, environmental or related engineering field. Minimum 5-10 years experience in manufacturing environment with managerial experience preferred.
