Medical Director – Pediatric Cardiology – AdventHealth for Children, Orlando, FL Overview AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth for Children are seeking a pediatric cardiology medical director to join our multidisciplinary pediatric and adult congenital cardiology team. The physician will work within a thriving program supported by the full AdventHealth healthcare system (50+ hospitals across nine states, including 30 in Florida). Collaboration with surgeons, cardiologists, coordinators, dietitians, pharmacists, therapists, and social workers is provided. The role is 0.8 FTE clinical and 0.2 FTE administrative (approximately 32 hours per month, not to exceed 384 per year). Non‑invasive cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists are encouraged to apply. Requirements Board certification in pediatric cardiology. Additional subspecialty board certification as applicable. High caliber, quality-focused, innovative physicians required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous leadership experience in a similar role preferred. Bi‑lingual in Spanish strongly preferred. Practice Description The position offers call coverage and competitive compensation.
