What You’ll DoOwn the Engineering ProcessLead packaging development from concept through productionMake key decisions on materials, tolerances, tooling, and manufacturabilityBalance cost, quality, and speed in a fast-paced environmentDesign & Technical ExecutionCreate and review 2D/3D designs in SolidWorksDevelop technical drawings with appropriate tolerances and GD&TEnsure designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and performanceCollaborate & CommunicateAct as the technical bridge between clients, sales, project managers, and factoriesTranslate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable recommendationsLead design reviews and technical discussionsManufacturing & Problem SolvingPartner with global factories during tooling, sampling, and productionTroubleshoot technical issues and drive solutions quicklyEvaluate product performance including fit, function, and aestheticsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field3+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineeringStrong SolidWorks experience (design + drawings)Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM)Nice to Have:Experience with plastics, injection molding, or consumer productsPackaging or cosmetics experienceFamiliarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-upsWhy Join HCTWork on real products for globally recognized brandsSee your designs go from concept → shelfHybrid work environment (3 days in office, 2 remote)Fast-paced, collaborative, and highly visible roleStrong growth potential within a global organization
