As a rapidly growing leader in commercial and multifamily exterior construction, we take pride in delivering high-quality roofing and exterior solutions across the Midwest.Our commercial division continues to expand, and we are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the successful execution of large-scale commercial and multifamily exterior projects from start to finish.Position SummaryThe Site Supervisor is a field leadership role responsible for the physical and logistical execution of commercial and multifamily roofing and exterior projects. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with high-level oversight to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to exact specifications.This individual serves as the primary link between the field and office while maintaining strong communication with General Contractors, property owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of leading crews while solving issues in real time.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Supervision & CoordinationOversee multiple commercial and multifamily exterior projects simultaneouslyPlan, organize, and coordinate daily job site operations, including crew scheduling, installation sequencing, and material stagingConduct routine site visits to monitor project progress, address field issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specificationsCollaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to maintain efficient workflow and avoid scheduling conflictsMaintain organized, productive, and professional job sitesSafety & Quality ControlEnforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment for all personnelConduct ongoing safety and quality inspections to ensure work meets manufacturer specifications, warranties, building codes, and client expectationsGenerate and manage rolling punch lists throughout the project lifecycleIdentify installation deficiencies in real time and provide immediate corrective direction to crewsEnsure all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and professionalismField Leadership & Crew ManagementSupervise subcontractors and field crews to ensure labor is performed according to project plans and company expectationsLead, mentor, and hold crews accountable for quality, productivity, and professionalismFoster a positive and team-oriented work environment while maintaining high performance standardsAddress field challenges quickly and professionally to keep projects moving forwardTechnical & Hands-On ResponsibilitiesPerform minor hands-on repairs or adjustments as needed to maintain production flow and prevent delaysTroubleshoot installation details involving shingles, siding, metal systems, TPO, EPDM, and other roofing systemsEnsure all work aligns with manufacturer specifications and warranty requirementsRead and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, scopes of work, and project submittals accuratelyMaterial, Equipment & Logistics ManagementMonitor material usage and coordinate timely delivery of roofing and siding materialsCoordinate equipment rentals, staging, and job site logistics for lifts, lulls, and other machineryManage accurate material returns to suppliers to minimize waste and protect project profitabilityEnsure tools and equipment are properly maintained and report defective equipment promptlyCommunication & DocumentationServe as the primary on-site point of contact for General Contractors, property owners, and field personnelProvide professional daily updates regarding project progress, scheduling, safety, and field concernsTrack field changes, document deviations from scope of work, and maintain organized project documentationHandle project submittals and maintain accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycleAddress client and contractor inquiries professionally to ensure strong working relationships and customer satisfactionQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredSeveral years of commercial roofing and/or exterior construction experience requiredPrevious leadership or site supervisory experience preferredProficient knowledge of commercial and multifamily roofing systems, including:TPOEPDMMetal roofing systemsShinglesSingle-ply systemsUnderstanding of siding systems and exterior wall assemblies preferredStrong ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and manufacturer specificationsExcellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience with material staging, inventory control, and job site logisticsAbility to professionally interact with General Contractors, property owners, subcontractors, and crewsValid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to work in varying weather conditions and physically navigate active construction sitesWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a professional who leads from the front — someone who is equally comfortable speaking with a General Contractor as they are stepping onto the roof to solve a technical issue.
