Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage the health records of campers and staff, train staff on health policies, and provide care to campers at the health center. The role includes maintaining documentation in compliance with the MA Department of Public Health and communicating with families about health concerns.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and review health records to ensure compliance with state regulations and ACA standards.Train camp staff in medication administration and health policies.Communicate health needs to staff and provide care for injuries and illnesses.Maintain documentation of health care visits and medication administration.Ensure first aid kits are distributed, stocked, and maintained.Manage health center inventory and organization.Collaborate with Family Services and Clinical teams for camper referrals.QualificationsMassachusetts RN or LPN LicenseCurrent BLS and basic first aid certificationExperience in summer camps, schools, or pediatrics preferredSkillsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyBenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
