About the CompanyOur client is building an AI-powered competitive intelligence platform for the pharmaceutical industry. Their technology unifies fragmented data sources into a single platform, applying domain-tuned AI to surface insights and deliver them through workflows built around the way competitive intelligence teams actually operate. They're an early-stage startup with paying enterprise customers.The RoleYou'll join the team as an early hire — shaping the product from the ground up. No programming or engineering experience required. This role is based onsite in Boston, with travel to the company's London headquarters.What You'll DoProduct Roadmap: Directly shape what gets built, in what order, and why — acting as the internal voice for life science users.AI Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to iterate on agentic AI system design and prompt engineering for life science research and reporting tasks including competitive landscaping of clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and patent publications.Benchmarking: Design evaluation processes to measure AI system performance against pharma enterprise requirements and expectations.Strategic Partnership: Act as the bridge between top pharma companies and the engineering team, translating domain expertise into product decisions.You Must HaveExperience in life science commercial strategy, competitive intelligence, due diligence, equity research, or investment analysis (consulting, VC, or PE backgrounds all welcome)Life sciences degree (undergraduate minimum)Preferred2+ years at pharma CI/strategy firms, VC, PE, or equity research experience covering pharma/biotechHands-on experience using or building AI toolsWhat's on OfferMeaningful founding equityDirect influence on product strategy and company directionWork alongside the CEO and CTO at a startup with paying enterprise customers
