Account Controller

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. This position requires a strong understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and financial reporting standards. The Financial Controller will be instrumental in driving fiscal management and supporting the organization's growth through effective financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Manage the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements and cash flow analysis. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement effective expense management and cost control measures across the organization. Provide leadership in strategic planning initiatives to align financial goals with business development objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to interpret financial reports and provide actionable insights for decision-making. Oversee payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Experience Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in construction finance or public accounting environments. Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing and interpretation for various stakeholders. Experience in risk management, fiscal management, and treasury functions is essential. Proficient in using financial software for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting purposes. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising finance teams and managing cross-functional projects. Excellent negotiation skills with a solid understanding of business analysis principles. Familiarity with revenue cycle management practices is a plus. A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional certifications (CPA/CMA) are preferred.
