Responsibilities may include accessing and managing ports. Accurate monitoring of patients during procedures is essential. Proficient in a variety of angiography techniques. Must demonstrate expertise in fluoroscopy and ultrasound. Capable of placing and maintaining central venous access lines. Experience with chest tube placement and dialysis graft interventions is preferred. Understanding of isolation precautions and proper use of PPE is required. Performing paracentesis, thoracentesis, and renal angiography is part of the role. Handle emergencies effectively, working with rapid response teams. Flexibility for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays may be necessary. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care. Familiarity with patient demographics from adolescents to geriatrics is important. Strong focus on maintaining sterile techniques during procedures.
