Marketing Automation Manager

Role: Marketing Automation ManagerLocation: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)Duration: 6-month contract We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Automation Manager to support the execution, optimization, and scaling of lifecycle and demand marketing programs. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to manage campaigns, workflows, and data quality across marketing automation and CRM platforms. Ideal for someone who enjoys both building and optimizing automations while improving process and campaign performance.ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day execution and optimization of marketing automation programs (email, nurture, lifecycle, and lead management)Build, test, and deploy automated campaigns, workflows, and journeysManage integrations between marketing automation platform and CRM (typically Salesforce)Maintain data hygiene, segmentation, lead scoring, and routing logicPartner with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Sales to support campaigns and initiativesMonitor campaign performance and translate insights into optimization recommendationsSupport A/B testing, reporting, and attribution trackingDocument processes and enforce marketing automation best practicesRequired Qualifications4–7 years of experience in marketing automation or marketing operationsHands-on experience with platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or Salesforce Marketing CloudStrong understanding of lead lifecycle management and CRM integration (Salesforce preferred)Experience supporting B2B marketing teamsComfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneouslyNice to HaveMarketing automation certification (Marketo, HubSpot, SFMC)Experience with reporting/BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)HTML/CSS experience for emails or landing pagesExperience supporting field marketing, events, or ABM programsBenefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
