We embrace the qualities that make each of our team members unique and develop each other’s skill sets so that together we can be stronger than the sum of our parts.Job DescriptionThe Production Manager schedules, effectively delegates, and manages hourly employees to efficiently meet production requirements for multiple operations in a fast-paced work environment.Essential Functions:Manage staff to ensure they are productive and working towards client satisfactionMaking quick decisions and changing plans/schedules to meet customer requirementsUnderstanding and involvement in 5S, Lean, Kaizen and other continuous improvement projectsDemonstrate strong leadership and employee motivational skillsResponsible for resolving HR issues, employee reviews and employee record keepingHave verbal and written communications with all levels of the organizationNeed ability to recognize opportunities and improve processes to increase efficiencyEffective use of ERP for systems and reportingProficient in MS OfficeUnderstanding of leader standard workSet, measure and analyze department KPIsIdentify department inefficiencies and create action plans to addressEffectively lead team meetingsQualificationBachelor’s degree in management or a related field3+ years of manufacturing/production experience preferredPrevious supervisor experience preferredExcellent communication and relationship building skillsExcellent analytical skillsStrong verbal and written skillsAble to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervisionThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all requirements and responsibilities and as such, is subject to change without notice based on the needs of the business and/or department.
