Overview In this role you will architect and implement AEM-based solutions, bridging frontend touches with a robust Java backend. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable content management, performance, and secure delivery. The position covers migration, headless CMS approaches, and integration with other technologies to support digital experiences. This is a hands-on role at scale, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability in an enterprise environment. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain AEM-based solutions (Touch UI, Classic UI, components, experience fragments, editable templates, ClientLibs)Work on backend stack: OSGi, JCR, Sling, WCM APIs, Sling Models; implement workflows, event handlers/listeners, schedulers, and Sling jobsIntegrate with external systems via API integrations; manage authentication and security layers (ACL, SSO)Performance tuning: page performance, dispatcher caching, query optimization, debuggingInfrastructure tasks: cronjobs, dispatcher setup, Apache, backup/restore, ACS AEM Commons usage, maintenance tasksPersistence setup: TarMK, MongoMK, S3; manage AEM backups and restore processesBuild and deployment: Maven/Ant builds, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, production deploymentsUse cases: migration from non-CMS, headless CMS approach, integration with other technologies, coding best practices Key requirementsStrong experience with AEM technologies and Java programmingProficiency in OSGi, JCR, Sling, WCM APIs, Sling ModelsExperience with workflows, event handling, schedulers, and Sling JobsUnderstanding of authentication, security, ACLs, and SSODispatcher configuration and performance tuning; experience with caching and query optimizationExperience with AEM persistence options (TarMK, MongoMK, S3) and backup/restorationBuild and deployment tools (Maven/Ant, Jenkins) and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with ACS AEM CommonsKnowledge of front-end integration with Touch UI and Classic UIExperience with REST API integrations and external system integrationAEM (Touch UI, Classic UI, components, experience fragments, editable templates, ClientLibs)OSGiJCRSlingWCM APIsSling Models
