Electronics Engineer III
Position Overview: The new Hardware Engineer will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!Responsibilities & Essential Duties:Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test ProgramMentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadershipCreate/update project/process documentation that align to project requirementsLead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trendingDevelop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systemsInterface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutionsDevelop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customersSupport, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closureAbility to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills): Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware3+ years of professional experience for this roleBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined educationHardware development experienceStrong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systemsExperience with interconnect designExperience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSpiceExperience leading projects teams and development effortsMust be able to work autonomously and drive items to closureExperience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)Issue Tracking experienceCapability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalentExperience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)Experience working with RFDemonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech productsExperience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentationExperience troubleshooting System level issuesExcellent verbal and written communications skillsGlobal Edge Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
