Project Manager (West Palm Beach)

Location: West Palm Beach, FLIndustry: Civil Engineering / Transportation InfrastructureOur client, a growing engineering and infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager – Roadway/Highway Design to support and lead transportation engineering projects throughout the region. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced transportation engineering professional with strong roadway/highway design experience, project management capabilities, and client-facing skills who is looking to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects while supporting team development and business growth.Responsibilities:Manage roadway and transportation engineering projects from planning through deliveryOversee project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and technical executionServe as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, subcontractors, and internal project teamsReview engineering plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and project estimatesProvide technical guidance, QA/QC oversight, and mentorship to junior engineering staffCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project deliverySupport proposal preparation, project pursuits, and client relationship management effortsPrepare client presentations and participate in public meetings as neededMonitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within budgetAssist in resolving technical design issues and maintaining project quality standardsSupport roadway and transportation related studies, construction plans, and engineering documentationCoordinate with DOT agencies and ensure compliance with applicable transportation standards and proceduresQualifications;Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required10+ years of professional engineering experience focused on transportation or roadway engineeringDemonstrated experience managing transportation engineering projects requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 monthsEIT registration requiredExperience working with DOT standards, permitting agencies, and transportation design procedures preferredProficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar engineering design softwareExperience with roadway/highway transportation infrastructure projects requiredFamiliarity with AutoTurn, GuideSIGN, and related transportation software preferredStrong leadership, communication, project management, and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environmentKnowledge of Federal and State ADA standards and guidelines preferred
