(TEI) is seeking early-career candidates for the position of Controls Engineer at its San Diego, CA headquarters. The successful candidate will work hands-on on the electrical, controls, and simulation development for products utilizing TEI’s innovative split-cycle internal combustion engines. Responsibilities include: Sensor and electrical hardware selection, procurement, testing, and calibration Electrical harness design, assembly, and troubleshooting Programming engine control unit for optimizing system safety, automation, and reliability Simulation software modelling and analysis of thermal, electrical, fluid, and mechanical subsystems Requirements: Engine development experience preferred Sensor selection experience preferred Programming experience required Simulink, LabVIEW, or other graphical programming experience preferred Experience with version control software such as GIT preferred 1D engine/system simulation experience such as GT-SUITE, Ricardo Wave, Simscape, or Amesim preferred Please send your resume and introduction to jobs@tourengine.com
