GIS Analyst - Onsite

Job Posting Position: GIS Analyst Job Type: Full-time Location: Onsite – Houston, TX Position Description: RAMTeCH Software Solutions is a global technology company specializing in geospatial and engineering solutions for the utility, telecommunications, and energy industries. We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to work onsite in Houston, Texas to assist in delivering GIS data services. The position requires solid knowledge of geographic information systems and computer-based technology and the ability to work with the production, technical, and client teams. Position Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in using Esri ArcGIS or ArcPro Minimum of three years of experience in performing GIS data management work Experienced in GIS mapping for electric and gas datasets, including landbase Experience in dealing with multiple and disparate sources for: ‒ Work Order Posting ‒ Data Maintenance Oracle or related RDBMS skills Good writing skills for training, specification, and process documentation Good analytical / problem-solving skills Strong customer-facing communication skills Experience with MS Office products required Experience with Esri UN (Utility Network) is required Experience with Schneider Electric ArcFM product is desirable Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Computer Science is desirable Additional Responsibilities Coordination and reporting of production status between project stakeholders Documentation of technical specifications and procedures Training as required Problem resolution for data and/or source-related issues and clarification Identify and recommend process improvements and enhancements Additional Job Details Location: Downtown Houston, TX Degree: Not required, but desirable Travel: Low Work Authorization: US Citizen RAMTeCH Software Solutions offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, health and dental insurance, tuition and training reimbursement, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, vacation and sick time.
